Navigating Fame and Controversy

Elvish Yadav has had a rollercoaster journey in the public eye, from clinching victory in Bigg Boss OTT 2 to stepping into the role of a gang leader on MTV Roadies XX. His path has not been without hurdles, including serious allegations such as his arrest for purportedly using snake venom at parties and accusations of attempted murder from another content creator, alongside a public dispute with fellow YouTuber Abhishek Malhan, known as Fukra Insaan.

In a candid interview, Elvish shared insights into how these controversies have impacted him and his efforts to maintain composure amidst the turmoil.

His debut as a gang leader on MTV Roadies XX marked a significant milestone, making him the first YouTuber to take on this position. While some fans were excited, others expressed skepticism, questioning his suitability for the show.

“Koi pressure nahi (No pressure at all),” he remarked, dismissing the negative comments. “I was reading all these things. People were saying, ‘How did they make him a part of this? This format isn’t meant for him. This isn’t right, they should’ve brought someone else.’ But I didn’t respond then, and I still won’t.”

Elvish further elaborated on the emotional strain caused by false accusations, stating, “Every day I wonder why I am facing consequences for something I didn’t do. Has being famous become a curse? There are others who are more famous and seem fine. Why is it only me?”

He also highlighted the impact on his family, saying, “My family has always supported me, but they have principles. They believe that if I were wrong, they wouldn’t stand by me. Their support means a lot, but it hurts when I face such baseless allegations.”

Recently, Kushal Tanwar, also known as Gullu from Elvish’s gang, emerged victorious in the reality show ‘MTV Roadies XX (Double Cross)’. The competition was fierce, but Kushal triumphed, winning a Karizma XMR bike and a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh.
